Peter Farmer (Snr.) is a talented Noongar artist having won a number of awards including the 2008 NAIDOC Perth "Visual Artist of the Year" and the tender to produce Curtin University's new Mace, in the traditional form of a Doak. He has also worked extensively in developing Aboriginal art in schools and is passionate about language and cultural heritage. Peter is currently an artist in residence, and has been so across many Western Australian Learning Institutions and at the Australian Tourism Expo within the "Indigenous Showcase".  Read more.
